Peggy, a native of colorful Colorado, is an experienced educational professional with a master's degree in educational psychology. With 25 years in higher education, she has successfully served in various roles, including instructor of psychology, and has led multiple departments, with a particular passion for disability support services. Dedicated to helping students and patients overcome learning barriers to achieve their academic and life goals, Peggy previously worked alongside Dr. Rose for over eight years in the early 2000s as a vision therapist. After retiring from higher education, she returned to Dr. Rose's office in 2024, knowing it would be an exemplary way to continue making a meaningful impact in the lives of others. Her background as a learning specialist provides her with unique insights into the impact visual dysfunction has on learning. Peggy loves supporting her patients and their parents through the vision therapy process as patients experience lasting breakthroughs in their visual performance both in school and in life. In addition to being a vision therapist, Peggy coordinates marketing efforts for the practice.
Outside of work, Peggy enjoys flower gardening, aquascaping, and spending time with her beloved menagerie, which includes two dogs, Thor and Paxton, a cat named Niles, and several colorful betta fish.
